Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Velopark Duathlon Series

The Olympic Velopark is now holding duathlon races run by London triathlon clubs, supported by Triathlon England (TE). They will take place on the magnificent closed road circuit surrounding the 2012 Olympic velodrome in the QEOP Velopark, Stratford. The purpose built circuit is 1mile in length.

There are three series' of races: a senior series, a women-only series and a children's series.

Races

The duathlons will start with with a 2mile (2 lap) first run then a 10mile (10 lap) bike section before finishing with a 1mile (1 lap) final run. Races will be chip timed. The events are chip timed with medals for the places in 16-19years, 20-39years, 40-49years and 50+years age bands. These races are open to all ability levels and the velopark is an ideal venue for your first duathlon whilst at the same time provides a challenge for the more experienced duathletes and triathletes. There are changing and showering facilities as well as coffe shop on site.

All the races are on Sunday mornings starting with registration from 09:45 and race start at 10:30
