Paddington Track
Paddington reopened in September 2012 after a full track refurbishment and now boasts a new 6-lane synthetic track. This is the track that Roger Bannister trained on in preparation for breaking the 4 minute mile while working at the nearby St Marys Hospital. We are now the home club at this track.
Coaches Andy Robbins and Andy Reeves organise track sessions on Tuesday evenings starting at 7:00pm. Additional senior sessions are planned in the future. This is also the main location for our current junior training options on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
There are changing facilities, showers and small lockers available at the track. The track is currently free to use for the junior sessions but the adults must pay £1.
Within Paddington Recreation Ground, the Pavilion is also available for Serpentine group meetings / workshops etc. Please contact your Strategic Partnership Committee member for further details.
