There's plenty more useful advise for those training for a marathon in our Advice section.
As the London Marathon approaches, we arrange long training runs (usually on Sunday mornings) and take part in races as part of our training programmes. Two weeks before the big day, we organise our Last Half of the London Marathon long run, so that you get used to the course, particularly those challenging last miles. If you want any help or advice, please get in touch with our coaches, or any member of the Committee, and we will do our best to help.
