2013 Fixtures
- 20th April or 4th May
- 18th May
- 15th June
- 13th July
- 10th August
Competition Format
Each meeting will have four clubs, with men and women competing separately in a full timetable of track and field events (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m/5000m, 100/110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 3000m/2000m/1500m steeplechase, high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, shot, discus, javelin, hammer, and 4 x 100m and 4 x 400m relays). Each team can have two competitors per event ('A' and 'B' string). On an eight lane track that means that generally the A & B strings will compete together in all races.
Points scoring is a simple: 4-3-2-1 for each event, the team with the most points wins the fixture; then 4-3-2-1 for each fixture to determine the league position. Every point is valuable and it is therefore important that we enter competitors in every event.
