Training for the London Marathon
Every runner is different, and there is no right or wrong way to train. Ideally, if you are thinking of running a marathon for the first time, you should get some advice which is specific to you.
If you are new to running, check out our Beginners' Guide to Running. This contains all the information you need to get you started. Included in the Beginners' Guide is a guide to designing your own marathon training schedule. There's also lots of useful information from the Serpentine Marathon Training Seminar of 2006 and a summary of the advice given by Bud Baldaro to Serpies in September 2008.
